Writing Is a Passion, Don’t underestimate it :)

Hello All, today’s blog is about writing and how unique it is. I’ll be mentioning some unique ideas, and things which can make you feel absoloutely great. So let us get started 🙂

Writing is a passion, according to me, which is very unique and sometimes very hard to find that inner talent in ourselves. All the bloggers, are great in blogging, all the vloggers are great in vlogging, like that only, all the authors and small writers and creators are talented and unique in themselves. I am still trying to find some more hidden talents in myself as my elders’ say- “Talent hits a target that no one can hit, but genius hits a target that no one else can see.

I am, sometimes fascinated to think about, that how JK Rowling can write or narrate books that are simply fantabulous. For ex: The Harry Potter series (if you want to read about it, you can click this link- (https://funstuff.family.blog/2020/11/09/wingardium-leviosa/) which was amazing story about three friends and their thrilling adventures. But, a thing to always keep in mind that all of us get some inspiration or learning from a particular story. I really liked Saki’s Story- “The Open Window”, in which was a girl who fooled a man using her cunning brain, and I too like his story called- “A Shot In The Dark”, in which was a man called Phillip Sletherby who was applying for a seat in the parliament in the town of Chalkshire, and was invited by Mrs. Saltpen-Jago who was a repectable and level-headed women. Phillip was already “on approval” by her and he wanted to impress in his finest manners. But, he goes across through a real fuss which results in he himself, loosing a golden opportunity to impress Mrs. Saltpen-Jago. Another author called Liz Pichon, has too a famous book series called Tom Gates, who has a dreadfull and nerd sister called Delia, father who is bald called Frank Gates and his mother who buys him embarassing shoes called Rita Gates (here is a picture too)

Tom Gates Brilliant World: EMBARRASSING PARENTS!!

Writing is a very complex art. All of us should write as it helps us to express ourselves, and to reach a larger audience, hence it is counted in mass media. So, it is time to end my blog. Please stay tuned till the next on… Till then, Farewell !

The Weeknd a.k.a Rocking

How The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' Made History | Billboard

Hello all, I am back here with some interesting blogs that can make your day…. So, today’s topic is quite interesting. As you all must be aware that “The Weeknd” has become an ever-lasting song group. It has produced songs which just either relaxes your heart and soul or makes you do head bangs (if it is a rock song). So let us get started!

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known professionally as the Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. Well according to me, his songs just drives you in another world, and that sounds amazing. Well, let’s know some history:

Born: 16 February 1990, Toronto, Canada

Occupation: Singer; songwriter; record producer

Son of: Ethiopian immigrants Makkonen and Samra Tesfaye

Nationality: Canada

About his childhood and early life:

1)The Weeknd was born to Makkonen and Samra Tesfaye on 16 February 1990, in Scarborough, Ontario. He is the only child of his parents who moved from Ethiopia to Canada in the 1980s.

2)He was brought up by his mother and maternal grandmother, and doesn’t remember his father who left the family when he was one or two. His mother worked as a nurse and caterer to support the family, attending night school at the same time.

3)His first language is Amharic, which he learned from his grandmother. He also became fluent in French from the French-immersion class he attended till eighth grade.

4)During his childhood, he attended two schools, West Hill Collegiate Institute and Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute. However, he got kicked out of one and dropped out of the other after six months. He then left home and started to live with two of his friends in a one-bedroom house at 65 Spencer Avenue.

His major works:

1)The Weeknd’s compilation album ‘Trilogy’ peaked at No. 5 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 4 on the U.S. ‘Billboard’ 200. Within a week of its release, it sold 86,000 copies. It eventually reached platinum status in America and double platinum status in Canada.

2)’Beauty Behind the Madness’ is his most successful album, earning him multiple awards and nominations. It became the tenth best-selling album of 2015, with 1.5 million copies sold worldwide, and has sold over two million copies in the United States so far.

His awards and achievements:

1)In 2015, The Weeknd joined the ranks of Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Taylor Swift after his track ‘The Hills’ replaced his other chart-topping single, ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, on the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 chart. He is the 12th person to have two tracks back-to-back on the top of the list.

2)In 2015, his album ‘Beauty Behind the Madness’ won two Grammy Awards for ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ and ‘Best R&B Performance’. His song, ‘Earned It’, which was included in the album, earned him an Academy Award nomination.

3)The album ‘Starboy’ received positive reviews from critics and debuted at number one on the ‘Billboard’ 200 chart. It became the top album in 80 countries within a day of its release.

A super fact: The Weeknd is also a philanthropist. He has provided monetary support to various causes including $250,000 donation to the Black Lives Matter movement.

So, my favourite songs are:

  1. Can’t feel my face- (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEI4qSrkPAs)
  2. Blinding Lights- (https://youtu.be/4NRXx6U8ABQ)
  3. Earned it- (https://youtu.be/xe_iCkFsQKE)

So, that’s it for today. Please like and follow my blog, and stay tuned for the next one as well…until then, Farewell!

See Ya!

So, Hello Everyone. The title might not bring a good sense but, I would like to explain it in a brief and detailed manner. Our school will be conducting exams so suddenly, and it is 1 month away, so I’ve been preparing a lot. I would be taking a short leave (sort of) and will not be able to send blogs due to the same. Apologies for the same, but I would soon return maybe in the March-ending and will surely bring exceptional blogs that will delight you a lot. Thanks a ton and Farewell!

Mobile Phones creating “The Digital Era”

Hello everyone. Today you must be a bit agitated by reading the topic. This topic is based on “TRUE EVENTS”, so please read till the end. And today’s thought of the day- “If you want something you never had, you have to do something that you have never did.” So let us get started….

Mobile phones, nowadays a necessity for humans. Everything in our daily lives is depending on phones or in a nutshell, our lives are becoming virtually interactive or attractive and not physically. We can’t attend meetings or calls or even message our friends without internet. In this Corona time, at my perspective, our lives are becoming wholly digital, which is just not worth it…Well, let’s focus on some good sides of mobile phones-

Uses of Mobile Phones:

905 Group People Watching Video Mobile Phone Photos - Free & Royalty-Free Stock Photos from Dreamstime

1: Communication: The very basic root of human colonization, communication. Nowadays mobile phones have the ability to connect people from all over the world, no matter where they may be. Not only that, they are easy to carry and accessible, communication has never been easier. Social media apps also play a huge role in communication allowing us to talk to our loved ones daily.

2: Entertainment: From the latest Hollywood or Bollywood blockbusters to the news highlights of your country, your mobile holds all these. No longer do we have to wait for our favourite TV show or news highlights, with one touch on your screen and get access to whatever you wish to see, hence, saving time. Mobile phones also act as gaming platforms for people looking for some relaxation or just to pass time.

3: Daily Utilities: Apart from entertainment and communication, mobile phones now have apps that help us to perform the same everyday chores without facing any hassle. From paying bills, booking cabs and hotels, to online maps for navigation purposes, capturing our memorable moments by built-in cameras. Mobile phones are doing it all.

4: Organization: Modern man is too caught up to keep track of everything, mobile phones help us to remain organized. You can store important documents and notes, memos, etc. send emails. Calendars and stopwatches are basic tools found in all mobile phones.

Even mobile phones help us to attend classes through online meeting platforms such as – Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc.

Now, let’s too focus on the “needs improvement side” or the bad one-

1:Addiction: Yes, mobile phone addiction is a thing. Nomophobia is a proposed name for the phobia of being out of cell phone contact. 50% of teens admit to being addicted to their phones. Studies show that people addicted to mobile phones often are linked to depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders.

2: Waste of time: The average person checks his phone once every 12 minutes, leading to 80 times a day. Most of the time people just check their phones for no good reason. Even when not using their phones, you might often see people fidgeting with their phones.

3: Cause of Depression: As discussed before, mobile phones may lead to depression, especially among teens. With the rage of social media, teenagers are becoming obsessed with “likes” on their personal posts and accounts. Moreover, reduced daily life interactions lead to loneliness and anxiety.

I reckon, that now you must be aware of both good and bad sides of mobile phones. Well, honestly I like them too but only for a bit entertainment, news, studies, and hotspot.

I have seen IT Engineers lecturing to people that in the coming future, there will be no need for physical work or need of workers in industries as the AI (Artificial Intelligence) will take over everything. So, my whole article concludes that Mobile phones are both good and bad and about the digital era that would take over the humans very soon.

Thank you for reading my blog. Please stay tuned till the next one as well. Till then, B-bye!

Coding= Fantastic :)

Hello everyone, this is Ayati here. Today, I am going to share an interesting topic with you all which, in a nutshell is, “Coding and everything related to it”. I’ll be going to share some of my rough as well as good experiences, so let us get started. =>

My Rough Experience

It’s around the date after my birthday, i.e., 21st of August. My Computer Science teacher introduced us all for coding in HTML (Hype Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheet). I am a bit skilled in JavaScript, you know, can make *games (if you want to know more then please read till the end). SO, it was a coding platform called “WhiteHatJr.” I took up its trial class and it was quite great. So, I insisted my mumma, to take up the paid one, which costed us- 6000/- for 8 classes and 8 projects. Not costly for me at all. Then, I started off my 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd class. I felt a bit peculiar about the teacher’s attitude in the 2nd last and last class. When finally my last class approached, and ended, the so-called White Hat Jr. authorities called me day and night to renew my package. I was so fed up that I simply blocked their numbers in my bossy style, and always recommended people not to take up coding from these type of platforms. My brother, who is a skilled “Python Coder”, showed me various tutorials on YouTube, regarding the development of games using JavaScript. See, I could have simply looked upon these tutorials rather than, literally wasting my money on dumbos. So, that was my rough experience.

My great experience-

When, I was fed up with such disloyalty of this so-called organisation, I consulted my Computer Teacher, ‘coz I can’t discontinue my passion. She told not only me, but our whole class about a site called- w3schools. At that site, they told everything straight-forward with simplicity, and no doubts (of course!). I continued learning my JavaScript, Advanced CSS, and some recap of HTML. And, according to me the best code editor is “Sublime Text Editor-3”. SO, that was my great experience.

See, the world isn’t divided into good people and death eaters, right? Kidding! But that is the quote of the day from me…..

Coding is actually really great. I dream to become an IT Engineer in Microsoft, or Facebook, with a good post and salary as well. Coding makes me think from different ways, helps in growing in every aspect, as my father says. It just makes your sleepy mind, run just like a car zooming down a racing track. So, that was all for today. If you really enjoy reading my blog, then keep reading the same and don’t forget to follow and like it has well! Stay tuned till the next as well and till then, Farewell!

Book Review-1

Hello all, this is my first and RANDOM book review of the book- Matilda by Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl was a British novelist, short-story writer, poet, screenwriter, and wartime fighter pilot. His books have sold more than 250 million copies worldwide. So, the famous writer’s famous book was a lot famous because of its famous story. Ok, so let’s go in brief-

Matilda Wormwood, was a girl with vast imagination, big brain and great intelligence, since the age of 4! Yes, it was very surprising. She often babbled a lot in front of her parents, and she read newspapers, and asked witty question which can make anyone puzzled (remember, she started it all from the age of 4). Her parents often thought her to be a silly, nasty girl, who always boasted about her “Big Brain”. They were quite rich in the town. Her mother, Mrs. Wormwood, every afternoon, went to play bingo, to other city. His father went to his business (Wormwood Motors), and his brother…………No Idea! When, everyone went to their work, she sneaked up to the library, whose librarian was Mrs. Phelps. She was really dumbstruck and overwhelmed, watching such a little kiddo reading books (that’s a shame, even I couldn’t read books when I was 4.5 years old). Matilda often found her a comfy chair, near the fireplace and read children books. Once, Mrs. Phelps out of curiosity asked Matilda if she had read all the books from the Children Corner. She promptly replied, “Yes Mrs. Phelps, I’ve read ’em all”. She was really fascinated by her reply, and offered her books of Charles Dickens, Saki (pen name of H.H. Munro) and many more. This continued and Mrs. Phelps was really amazed with her and she often asked her about the book, her favourite story and much more. Matilda told that reading was a nutshell for her. Afterwards, she got admission in the school where the principal was Ms. Trunchbull (whom everyone feared of). Then, she just came and teased the children brutally. She was famous in the whole school for “The Chokey”, which was kept in the headmistresses’s office. It is a horrible cupboard with nail and glass pieces stuck up to the sideways and the back ways of the cupboard. You can’t even lean, or take a bit support or even, give some rest to your legs and back. She threatened children that, if any mischief happens, then the kids will cost a lot (you know what I mean). Matilda’s friend Lavendar, makes “the Trunchbull” *as the kids call her* serve right. She catches a slimy, wriggly creature from the pond near her home. Miss Honey, the class teacher of class, who was always so fascinated from Matilda, instructed Lavendar to put a clean “Jug And Glass Full Of Water”. Miss Honey knew that “the Trunchbull” will go crazy like a mad dog if she doesn’t get good response or anythin’ in the class. They tried that trick on her, and before anything happens lemme tell you about one thing- “the Trunchbull” has a very bad habit of guessing the culprit if, she couldn’t catch the real one. This time, Matilda was in a huge problem because of 2 reasons-

  1. “The TrunchbullHATES Matilda’s parents as, his father does a fraud buisness of cars, in his SO-CALLED shop called- The Wormwood Motors. Plus, he sold a car to Trunchbull and that particular car’s motor was filled with sawdust, and that particular car was stolen, re-painted, and had changed number-plates, so that no one even tries to guess about his fraud work.
  2. Trunchbull, hates Matilda, and calls her a “know-it-all”, and said that she had a very nasty, cunning, and big brain which she uses for nothing but to tease Trunchbull.

She suffered and her blood was boiling (to 10000000000000000 degree Celsius to see the injustice done with her). Miss Honey tried to calm her just from her sign language. But something, just like a miracle happened and something very hot rushed through her brain, her eyes went red hot, and a type of electric charge just went through her. She was thinking and repeatedly, that the glass containing that slimy creature called a Newt, could tip on the trunchbull. Saying the words – Tip, Tip, Tip , the glass really tipped and it was all a chaos in the class.

And, everyhting went good and Matilda, using her power of justice, served “The Trunchbull right.

In the end, Mr. Wormwood was caught red-handed and the police was soon coming to capture them, so they were hurrying to fly to Spain as fast as possible. Matilda, who was very shocked hurried to Ms. Honey and Miss Honey explained her about the police and everything, and Matilda straight away asked to live with her. Ms. Honey agreed but, wanted a prior agreement from her parents. They both did a fast sprint and reached there within 2 mins. They allowed her to stay with Ms. Honey and her mother said that there will be a less member to take care off in the family, which Matilda thought was the usual self of her mom, and off went the car of Wormwoods. Matilda then, stayed with Ms. Honey. The Happy Ending 🙂

Ich Liebe Deutsche und ihre Sprache

Hello, everyone. This blog will be full of German language. So, please keep reading…

Thanks for reading my blog. Please don’t forget to follow and like my blog, and stay tuned to the next as well. Stay awesome, stay sweet 🙂 Farewell!!
